The Collected Works of John M. Frame

In my current position, I have discovered the immense value of Bible software. Installation Note. Logos Bible Software does not copy resources—books and MP3 files—from the distribution disk/s to your hard drive. If you install the software and then remove the CD-ROM or DVD, you will not be able to access the books and MP3s you installed.

This note explains how to copy resources—books and MP3 files—from the Logos distribution disk/s to your hard drive so you can use them without having to insert the DVD or CD-ROM each time. How to Copy Books from Logos Disks to Your Hard Drive

• (1) After installing the program, leave the DVD in its drive. If you have installed multiple CD-ROMs, place the first CD in the CD-ROM drive.
• (2) Start Logos, if it is not already running.
• (3) Click Tools | Library Management | Location Manager.
• (4) In the List Resources window, select Unlocked on Removable Media.
• (5) Leave the Destination window as set, unless you want to place the files on another drive.
• (6) You will be given a list of all book files available to copy to your hard drive.
• (7) Select the desired book files, then click Copy Resources.
  a. You do not have to repeat this procedure for a product that is distributed on a single DVD.
  b. You do have to repeat this procedure for each CD-ROM in a set.

• (1) Insert CD or DVD.
• (2) Go to Computer or My Computer.
• (3) Right-click the CD-ROM or DVD drive letter.
• (4) Click Open from the drop-down menu.
• (5) Double click the Setup folder.
• (6) Double click the Resources folder.
• (7) Double click the Media folder.
• (8) Click Edit, Select All (Ctrl + A).
• (9) Click Edit, Copy (Ctrl + C).
• (10) Go back to Computer or My Computer.
• (11) Double click the C:\ hard drive letter(where C:\ is the hard drive Libronix is installed on).
• (12) Double click the Program Files folder.
• (13) Double click the Libronix DLS folder.
• (14) Double click the Resources folder.
• (15) Click Edit, Paste (Ctrl + V).
